Original Student Calendar 20132014 Julian Ross Books
I originally bought this planner a couple of years ago from a bookstore (I think it was barnes and noble) and used it for the academic year. This is my third year of using this student planner from this company, and I was relieved to find that Amazon had it because it is made by a Canadian company (a little more expensive to ship directly to US) and the bookstore did not carry it when I went looking for it.I'm very very picky about my planners because I use it everyday and it is CRUCIAL for me to stay organized.
These are a couple of reasons why I consider it the best student planner:
Reason #1: The pages are thicker than most planners. Most planners have thin pages which I hate because most ink can be seen on the other side and makes things messy. I know this is probably very nit-picky of me, but if i'm going to organize my whole life into a planner, I don't want it to look messy.
Reason #2: There are no lines. This means that I can make things that are more important or urgent look more important or urgent by using bigger letters, boxing it, etc. I can also use the blank space for cute little doodles and such for holidays, etc.
Reason #3: Excellent layout. I can say from years of experience using this planner that it definitely has maximized my efficiency and organization ability.
Reason #4: Perfect size. The size of the planner is big enough to be substantial yet small enough to fit in my day bag.
I guess the one downfall is that I am not a big fan of the cover for this year. Last year's cover was really pretty and colorful and this one is just ok.
Hope this review helps, I felt compelled to write it because I have wasted a lot of money in the past on planners that I ended up never using, and this planner truly is helpful for the busy and productive student :)

This planner was so great, I wanted to continue using it after I had graduated college and was no longer a student! It kept me so much more organized and helped me to better manage my time for assignments and readings. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a quality student planner!
I've used the Original Student Calendar two years in a row. I really like the time management format (appointments/general study/the rest of your life). I highly recommend this for other college students.
I absolutely love Polestar's Student Calendar. I first started using them in High School, and I have not found another one like it. This is the only Student Calendar that use.
