I enjoyed this short story of hope and growing love with the Christian message woven throughout. I didn't really care for the story being told in the first person though. I was also disappointed in one part where the young pastor tells his congregation that a saloon girl who died in a fire is now with God. There is no mention of her anywhere else in the story except at the beginning when his future wife meets her briefly in the saloon.

Loved this story, and also loved the Bible verse at the beginning of each chapter.
I could not put this book down; it was wonderful! It is a story about how the Lord took a bad situation (lemons) and turned it into blessings for the main characters (lemonade).
Hope's life is turned upside down when her beloved father dies and she goes to live with her uncle, a move that ends up turning new pastor Thaddeus' life upside down too.

Another wonderful romance from Jan Holly. I felt for Hope and the injustice and fear she endured. The growing feelings between her and Thad were so well conveyed and the writing and characterisation kept me involved to the end. I was drawn in from the start and almost couldn't put the book down!

I thoroughly recommend Keeping Hope to everyone who loves romance!
Short, sweet, and inspiring! I love the message that when we allow The Creator to work on our lives, trusting Him with everything, He will lead us to a life that's full of joy and delight.
Another sweet and touching book by Jan Holly. I appreciate that it was a wholesome story with Christian values. It was sweet how the main characters, Hope and Thad's romance blossomed. Their story was very entertaining, a page turner.
