Just in case I do post spoilers please don't read on.Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let me begin.
Honestly I really don't know what to make of it. A part of me was like whoohoo let me give it a five, but then a part of me was like nuh uh, no way it doesn't deserve the five stars. So, I'm just gonna settle for the three. Three is safe. Three is okay. The reason for the indecisiveness is because sex took the front seat. I love sexy scenes don't get me wrong, but I mean have Kane and Maddie go out on a date or something that involves coupledom instead of ooo let me stick the prick inside the flower type of thing on repeat. I enjoyed the uniqueness of the whole seer and werewolf coupling, but I wish that I could've seen how Maddie's seer capabilities played out. Also, the story was short. I felt the ending to be quite rushed. I wished that it was stretched out and got more of a suspense of a hunter coming into play. Another thing, is the pack just Kane's cousins or are there more of them? So, yeah. Three stars for the whole shebang.

This is a quick read novella and standalone series opener. There is a strong connection between the H and h and suspense builds toward the climax, with a hint of what's to come in book two. A free short epilogue is available with newsletter signup, giving it additional closure. I liked it and recommend it.
I downloaded Hero Wolves of Angels Rest as a free 93-pg novella from . This was a good story, with a predictable, simple plot, centered heavily around sex scenes--which are fine, but after awhile, I just wanted to be done with it all.
This book shows promise but it needs work. I loved the location and tie in to real petroglyphs which r found in Utah even if they don't show wolves. My main problems are lose character development and lack of solid ending or should I say unsatisfactory ending. I didn't get clear understanding of character or pack. U can't have a pack if there is no loyalty or even security of safety from other pack members.
Great story. May be short but good none the less, and no cliff hanger.
Maddie is back in her town where it all started Angels Rest. Only she really doesn't even want to be here. Then she runs into him again after all these years, she still craves him.
Kane Villalobos is back to his hometown Angels Rest. With his father's passing, he must take a mate and rule over the pack as alpha. Only problem his head says one thing while his other head and heart say another. Who will he finally listen too?

A good fast read full of action, loved the story line, only at the end I was left with Where's the rest of it, like most of the book is missing, where is the rest of the pack, How is Kane suppose to take over leadership, are there no other people in the town, besides Darling and her Aunt Betsy and a couple others. What of Maddies seer powers, barely any details on that.
So much left unfinished. Maybe the rest of the series will add some insights.
Coming home after years away, Kane returns so he can because me alpha of his pack. Madde has also returned and is seeking a place to belong. When these two long lost lovers see each other again their chemistry explodes and they can't keep away from each other even though they try. Kane must find a mate and he believes that Maddie can't be his but his wolf and his heart has other ideas. These two have a lot to overcome and when a hunter sets its sight on them hey must come together to survive. This is the first book in this series and we ge to meet the other two heroes in the books to come. This story does have a HEA and a continuing storyline.

Maddie and Kane had a very short relationship whilst in high school. But as the son of the local alpha wolf, he had to give Maddie up of his father would have "removed" her. She had seer eyes and this meant she was bad news for the pack. Maddie later leaves town and Kane joins the military.
Now Kane's father is dead and he returns to take up the alpha mantle, that he doesn't really want. Maddie is also back in town and she decides to teat herself to another dose of Kane and then dump his ass the way he dumped her!! But the sexual tension between them is strong and he finds himself trying to find away to keep Maddie and his pack.
When Maddie and a friend end up in trouble, he is forced to show her just what he is. Can he trust Maddie with his secret or will she run for the hills???
A great short shifter story with alpha males and fiesty females and sizzling bedroom scenes. Gimme more please!!!
